The Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) Hub is a multi-functional community space that is dedicated to helping individuals with vision loss. Every aspect of the design including space planning, finish selection, lighting, and ergonomics were carefully considered to optimize the functionality of the space for the client. High contrast, flexible illumination, and adaptability were at the forefront of the design concept. An emphasis on tactile finishes ensured the engagement of the users through the experience of touch.
